MACHUPICCHU
The Inca Trail to Machupicchu is known as the most famous trekking route in South America, for its beauty and the conjunction of the different elements that it offers to the visitor.
The total distance of the Inca Trail is approximately 43 km, starting from Q'oriwayrachina or the well-known place as Km. 88.
Here, the trek begins taking visitors to the varied archaeological sites that are along its journey. At the same time it passes 9 Sanctuary areas, which are located between 2000 and 6000 m.a.s.l. The Inca Trail's latest routes that visitors use at this moment, are original structures and roads they left from Cusco city to Machupicchu.
