DESCRIPTION
First day:
Transfer in from the Bus Station to the Hotel
PM: Visit to the Pre Columbien cementery of Chauchillas
Second day:
08.00 am Flight over the Nasca Lines
*Nasca: About 460 kms. south of Lima. It shows extensive lands of mysterious lines, discovered in 1927 on about 500 kms2. It is possible to appreciate them well only 
from the air, figures like a spider, a monkey, a dog, a small lizard, a hummingbird and a condor, show differences about their sizes and dimensions between 15 to 300 meters.
THe Nasca lines are one of the most mysterious places in the world. The size an the complexity of these figures suggest some kind of unknown origin. However archeologists state thas this drawings were made by the Pre- Inca cultures of Nasca and Paracas who used the huge plains as a big drawing board.
Maria Reiche a German researcher who spent all her life studying these figures said that this lines 15 to 20 cm deep were an enormous astronomical calendar used to track down the different solar phases.
