 Southeast Peru is an habitat for the world's most prolific bird life, with the Manu Road in particular providing some of the best birding anywhere. This trip also visits the Abra of Malaga/Machu Picchu area for even more incredible birding. This is the most comfortable birding area of Peru as most areas have well-run lodges and hotels we will use.

Traveling Conditions:
This is generally quite a comfortable trip. We have a few nights of camping to save long morning drives and to give chances for some night birds, but generally we stay in comfortable hotels or very good lodges. The meals we use in good restaurants or it is provided by the lodges. South-east Peru is the best developed part for ecotourism. There are some rough roads, but not much. We won't drive during the nights.
